Rebates

Electric Water Heater Rebates $50.00:

• It must be .90 efficiency or higher
• Rebate is for new unit or the replacement of an existing electric water heater that is less than .90 efficiency.
• Limit 2 per member address.
• Heat pump water heaters are eligible for rebates
• Rebate application & proof of purchase must be submitted for reimbursement.

Heat Pump Water Heater rebate up to $500, not to exceed 50% of total cost:

• Energy efficiency rating must meet the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) standards.
• For new construction or replacement of existing electric heater that is less than .90 efficiency. 
• Replacement of gas water heater.
• Limit two (2) per member address.

Window Air Conditioner Units $50.00:

• Must be Energy Star rated (for new or replacement unit).
• Limit 1 per member address.
• Rebate Application & proof of purchase must be submitted.

Energy Star Certified Smart Thermostat rebate up to $50, not to exceed 50% of total cost:

• Must be Energy Star rated Thermostat & can be used with any type of heating & cooling system.
• Limit two (2) per member address.
• For new construction or replacement of an existing non-Energy Star thermostat.

Home Energy Audits $87.50 scheduling 2-months out:

• Must pay the $87.50 fee prior to scheduling the Energy Audit.
• Audits are available for new or existing homes.
• An incentive of up to 50% of the cost, with a cap of $500, will be paid for the corrective actions taken from the auditors list of recommended measures.

Heat Pump rebate $300.00 per ton: Air Source, Mini-Split and Dual Fuel Units

• Must be Energy Star Plus 2 rated (17 SEER)
• New home or building construction.
• Replacement of existing electric resistance heat.
• Replacement of existing natural gas or propane heating system.
• Manual J Calculation (Heat Load Study), AHRI (Certificate of Product Rating) & proof of purchase must be submitted with application for reimbursement.

Ground Source Heat Pump rebate $750.00 per ton for new systems or $300.00 per ton for replacement Systems:

• Must be Energy Star Plus 2 rated (19.1 EER)
• On new home or building construction.
• Replacement of electric resistance heat.
• Replacement of existing natural gas or propane heating system.
• Electric or fossil fuel backup heat will be allowed four ground source heat pumps.
• $300 rebate per ton for replacement of the indoor ground source heat pump unit only-no match required. 
• Manual J Calculation (Heat Load Study), AHRI (Certificate of Product Rating) & proof of purchase must be submitted with application for reimbursement.

Electric Vehicle Level 2 Charging Station $250 rebate, not to exceed 50% of total cost:

• Residential and Commercial members in good standing with the cooperative are eligible for rebates when buying qualifying electric vehicle Level 2 charging stations.
• The structure in which the member resides must be a permanent structure on a permanent foundation on the land owned by the member.
• Rebates are limited to eligible services (homes, lake homes, shops, barns, commercial buildings, etc.) that purchase more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the cooperative on an annual basis. 
• Equipment must be new & UL listed.
• Limit of two rebates per member location.
